This is a 4-cup of coffee day. My mom is very ill in the hospital with lung cancer, Stage IV. We are going to be moving her to a hospice facility sometime this week. Needless to say, I’ve had no sleep.
My mom was a vibrant, vital woman until this happened. She lived her own life on her own terms. I must believe that she is headed to a better place. The trip is rough, but we are with her on it. We can’t follow her all the way, but just help get her started to a better place.
It is a 4-cup of coffee day. I can’t sleep; I can hardly eat, but I can drink coffee. Go figure. And it is good coffee from 7-Eleven where they make Fusion stuff overcooked that takes your teeth lining off. It gets you going and keeps you going.
That and Naked Protein Juice. Probably all I’ll consume today. If I was a smoking person, I’d be chain smoking, but I’m not. If I was a drinker, I’d be drunk.
This is one of the hardest times in my life, and I couldn’t get through it without coffee. Thank God somebody thought up brewing those beans.
Yep, four cups, no less today.
And, maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
